Donald Trump has revealed the eerie four-word request Charlie Kirk made before he was killed.
The assassination of conservative activist Kirk on September 10, 2025, continues to send shockwaves across the nation.
The right-wing activist, 31, was fatally shot while hosting a campus debate at Utah Valley University, an attack prosecutors have charged 22-year-old Tyler Robinson with carrying out.
In the aftermath, political allies and opponents have clashed over the meaning of Kirk’s life and death.
But it was during his public memorial service at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, that President Donald Trump revealed what he claimed were Kirk’s final words to him – a chilling four-word plea.

The September 21 memorial drew more than 100,000 attendees — nearly double the stadium’s capacity — with thousands standing outside to pay respects.
Security rivaled that of a Super Bowl, costing an estimated $10 million and involving layers of armed patrols, checkpoints, and bulletproof glass shielding both Trump and Vice President JD Vance.
The service featured tributes from Trump, Vance, and other conservative leaders, along with video montages of Kirk’s career highlights and previously unseen footage from the day of his assassination.
At one point, security arrested a man attempting to enter the venue dressed as a police officer and carrying a weapon. Authorities later determined he was part of a bungled private security arrangement.

While Trump’s words drew headlines, it was a quiet, emotional gesture from Kirk’s widow, Erika, that stole the hearts of many mourners.
As she joined Trump on stage, Erika made a deliberate hand sign, extending her thumb, index finger, and pinky while folding down her middle and ring fingers.
At first, the gesture fueled speculation online, with interpretations ranging from political messaging to cultural symbols.
But Erika later confirmed its meaning: it was the American Sign Language sign for ‘I love you.’ Formed by combining the ASL letters I, L, and Y, the gesture was her way of sending a message directly to her late husband during one of the most emotional moments of the ceremony.
She has since stepped into Kirk’s role as CEO of Turning Point USA, fulfilling what she said was his wish.
The remark came as part of Trump’s 40-minute eulogy, which combined tributes to Kirk’s activism with promises of new law-and-order measures.

It also followed days of controversy over Trump’s earlier dismissal of national unity efforts.
On Fox & Friends, when asked how the country might come together after Kirk’s assassination, Trump responded bluntly: “I couldn’t care less.”
For Trump, Kirk’s death has become both a rallying cry and a political weapon.
At the memorial, he called Kirk ‘a giant of his generation’ and suggested his administration would soon unveil what he described as a ‘medical answer to autism,’ though health experts have cast doubt on the validity of those claims, The Washington Post reports.
And as Trump framed Kirk’s final request to him – ‘Please, sir, save Chicago’ – the crowd erupted in applause.
Trump, a longtime ally of the Turning Point USA founder, told the packed stadium that Kirk’s last request centered on his hometown, where crime and social unrest have long been points of political contention, per People.
“We’re gonna do that, we’re gonna save Chicago from horrible crime,” Trump said. “We’ll have Charlie very much in mind when we go into Chicago, and we’ll get that one straight.”
