Charlie Kirk shooter’s exact POV apparently revealed in chilling new photos that show his sniper’s nest

Chilling new photos appear to show the exact location where a sniper positioned himself on a Utah Valley University rooftop before firing a fatal single shot at conservative icon Charlie Kirk, as the FBI offers a huge reward for the suspect’s capture.

The images depict a gravel-covered rooftop — believed to be the Losee Center on the Orem campus — with five orange evidence flags marking what appear to be indentations, possibly made by the suspect’s body or hand.

The vantage point has a clear line of sight to the white pop-up tent where Kirk was addressing an audience of around 3,000 people at the inaugural stop for his nationwide American Comeback Tour.

The gunman is still on the loose, and an intense, multi-agency manhunt is ongoing, with the FBI offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his identification and arrest.

The bureau released a pair of surveillance camera photos of a “person of interest” in the shooting, showing a lanky male wearing dark clothing, wrap-around sunglasses and a T-shirt with an eagle and American flag with the text “Land of the free, home of the brave.”

Anyone who might be able to identify the man is being asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI or submit a tip digitally.

Here’s the latest on the Charlie Kirk shooting in Utah

Kirk was hit through the neck by the fatal bullet from roughly 200 yards away with a high-powered bolt-action rifle. The shot sent students and spectators screaming and running for their lives as he grabbed his gushing wound and fell to the ground.

The right-wing activist was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition and died, leaving behind a wife and two children.

Chilling footage recorded immediately after the gunshot rang out appears to show a small, dark shape jump up and sprint across a roof in the distance as people in the crowd ducked for cover.

Another clip filmed earlier shows the dark shape lying prone on top of the rooftop from which the gunman fired as people below wondered aloud what they were looking at. Kirk was shot moments later.

Authorities said Thursday that the “college-age” assassin blended in with students when he arrived on campus about half an hour before the slaying, then made his way to the roof, later “jumping off the building,” when he fired the fatal shot.

An imported .30-06-caliber Mauser rifle — found wrapped in a towel in a wooded area near the Orem campus — is believed to be the murder weapon, according to a memo put out by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Preliminary reports from law enforcement sources said the weapon contained cartridges engraved with “transgender and anti-fascist ideology.”

However, a Justice Department source told The Post that the agency was not yet able to confirm the ATF’s descriptions matched the evidence recovered at the scene.

A “footwear impression, a palm print, and forearm imprints” were also collected from the scene and sent to the forensics lab for analysis, according to FBI’s Special Agent in Charge Robert Bohls.

Two “persons of interest” later found not to be connected to the shooting were detained following the targeted attack – one was hit with an obstruction of justice charge and the other was interrogated by federal agents and released.

The large-scale search for Kirk’s assassin continued Thursday as politicians from both sides of the aisle condemned the killing.

Kirk’s conservative organization hailed him as “America’s greatest martyr,” adding that while he was no stranger to personal threats, he sacrificed his personal safety in order to reach as many young people as he could.

“Every one of us at Turning Point USA is crushed and devastated by the hateful murder of our founder and guiding light, Charlie Kirk,” Turning Point USA said in a statement.

“More than anyone, Charlie believed in the power of argument and good-faith debate to find the truth and guide people towards, if not agreement, then at least mutual understanding. Now Charlie has become America’s greatest martyr to the freedom of speech he so adored.”

Before he became a rising MAGA star who rose to prominence on YouTube and X, Kirk launched Turning Point out of his parents’ garage at age 18.

Kirk’s Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action grassroots organization eventually grew from a total revenue of $4.3 million in 2016 to $92.4 million in 2023 — with a vast majority of it coming from donations, The New York Times reported.

The slain skilled debater, a close ally of President Trump, will be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom – the nation’s highest civilian honor, the commander in chief announced Thursday morning.

“Charlie was a giant of his generation, a champion of liberty and an inspiration to millions and millions of people,” said Trump, who publicly confirmed Kirk’s death on Truth Social Wednesday.
